From idea to market leader - our path of growth and excellence

2017

The Idea

After conducting research and discovering that many cooking oils in the market had high cholesterol levels and additives that could be harmful to health, our founder, Evalyne S. Thompson, decided to establish a factory that would produce pure sunflower oil without any additives.

2018

Foundation

Esol Sunflower Oil Mills was established on June 24, 2018, in Kibaigwa, Karume Street, Kongwa District, Dodoma Region. Our journey began with a mission to provide high-quality cooking oil to Tanzanian consumers and protect their health.

2019

Certification

We achieved certification from the Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) with certification number 5423, confirming our commitment to quality and safety. We were also recognized by the Small Industries Development Organization (SIDO).

Growth & Excellence

Today, we continue to grow and expand our operations while maintaining our commitment to quality. We serve customers across Tanzania and are working toward expanding to neighboring countries, becoming a trusted name in pure sunflower oil.
